Offered for auction is this early Seagrove/Randolph County, North Carolina salt glazed stoneware pinch bottle. It measures 8.5" tall and is in good condition with one small flake off the underside of the rim. Must have come out of a really packed kiln as one side is unglazed. The bottle is unsigned and although we can't absolutely attribute this great early piece, it is reminiscent of the early stoneware vessels of Ruffin Cole, James Owen or William Crisco...any of your thoughts on the subject would be appreciated!
High bidder to pay $8.25 toward safe packing and shipping within the USA, optional Postal insurance extra.
International bidders welcome!
