This auction is for a nice early Two Hook Tooth Key.

This piece is in very nice condition with no repairs.

This piece measures 6” long by 4 ¾” wide.

The handle looks to be made of rosewood. It has two 2 ½” cracks in it. Neither progress to either end and both look to be stable and have not been glued. There is also a 3/8” loss that looks to have been made by some sort of bug.

The steel shows no evidence of ever boon plated. It has some minor rust and would probably polish up but I will leave this up to you, as I like the patina it has.

I have never seen a tooth key with two hooks. I believe that this makes this piece somewhat unusual.
