This fantastic barometer was made by one of the famous scientific instrument manufacturers, from the United Kingdom, during the late 19th or early 20th Century. It consists of a circular barometer, with black numerals, wording and dials, to a white ground, behind a glass face, with a brass metal mount, set onto a lacquered wooden wall plaque. It is further embellished with a small inset oval form mirror.
Marks & Backstamps
The piece is not marked with a manufacturer's backstamp, but is guaranteed to be a genuine, early and original piece.
Condition & Size
The barometer has a little age wear, in particular to the brass mount, which is common in a piece of this vintage, and does not detract. Otherwise, it is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration. The plaque measures approximately 10" in height. It has not been tested, but from observation, appears to be in full working order.
