This is an extremely early vanity mirror stand with two candle holders- guaranteed authentic and most likely ca 1800’s. I cannot say what timber has been used here- and whilst the item works well in its off white satin paint- this would also be a very rewarding project for anyone wishing to strip the paint to reveal the wood beneath? The piece is beautifully lathe turned and pieced together with dowel- some of which is currently loose. That said the item is in excellent complete condition as shown, the mirror is perfect and this would look beautiful upon a dressing table or mantle in a period bedroom or interior. . 50cm (19 ¾ inches)
