Here is a pair of solid platinum earring backs to replace ones you've lost. These earring backs are for posts that measure .041 inch or 1mm. They have a large diameter of about 5mm.
The
size is determined by the width of the post. If you have a ruler that shows
centimeters, lay the post on it. A large post will be about 1mm - it will fill
up the space between two of the small lines. An extra-large post will go over
the lines. A medium post will almost fill up the space, but will not touch the
lines.A small post will be less than
half of that. Most earrings will have medium posts - not quite a millimeter. If
you are not sure, you might want to start with the medium size. The backs are
returnable if they do not fit.
