1. How does it work? 

ANSWER - For pierced earrings just attach the back leaving a small space on the earring post.  Place the back through the keyhole and let earring slide down into the slot.  It's that easy!  For necklaces and bracelets just use the hooks.  For rings and broaches use the accessory tray.

2. What is the capacity?  How many pairs of earrings does the Accessory Angel actually hold? 

ANSWER - That depends on what you have if all of your earrings measure 2" long or less and 1" wide or less at least 55 pair will easily fit. 

Most earring customers have a variety of types and sizes of earrings, and I designed the Accessory Angel sensitive to those needs.  If you think you need a larger Accessory Angel because you have so many pairs, take inventory, and then purchase as many Accessory Angels as you need.

For necklaces, bracelets and other jewelry there are 29 sturdy well spaced large hooks, they are staggered spaced and can easily handle the heaviest necklaces.  For other accessories like rings etc. there is a large 16" x 2 1/2" tray that can also works great for your cell phone or ipod.

3. How do I organize my earrings using this system? 

ANSWER - You can visit our website for more earring organizing information but basically it is best to put your longest earrings on the bottom, your medium ones by size and the smallest to fill in where the larger ones might otherwise over lap. Hoops go on the bottom row of round holes or the bottom row of keyholes. 

CLIP earrings like Triangle Back, Slim Back or Screw Back, just leave closed put into hole and let slide down into slot.  For Screw Backs you may need to unscrew slightly for screw shaft to slide down into slot.  Have fun and arrange them as you like these are only suggestions. 

4. What are the dimensions? 

ANSWER - It measures approximately 15 inches high x 16 3/4 inches wide from end to end and stands out from the wall 2 1/2".

5. Is it easy to install? 

ANSWER - Yes!  Be sure that the necklace hooks are on the bottom.  Just drive the 1 1/4 inch multi-purpose anchor screws (WALL DOG Screw & Anchor in One) directly through the 4 keyhole/screw holes.  They are located on the top far right and left keyholes and the bottom far right and left keyholes (AS PHOTOGRAPHED).  The screw holes are easily seen and accessible through the front keyholes to make installation a breeze.  The screw/anchors I provide can be used on plywood, wallboard, concrete, block, brick or plaster according to the manufacturer. 

Level and mark Accessory Angel for mounting, hold it in position and insert a Screw/Anchor into the screw-hole through the front keyhole using a #2 Phillips Driver into the recess of the screw/anchor head and tighten until it feels secure BUT DO NOT over-tighten, because that will loosen the screws grip.  If fastening to concrete, block, brick or plaster pre-drill hold with the proper 3/16 carbide tipped drill bit.  This wonderful screw/anchor features high-profile threads for easy fastening and has deep cutting, corkscrew-like threads that provide for smoother entry and a powerful hold.  When removed it leaves a much smaller hole that toggles, molly-bolts or other anchors and yet it is a easy to use screw.  If attaching to furniture DO NOT use the screw/anchors provided they are too heavy duty.  Use smaller screws or 1" heavy duty 2 sided foam tape that can handle 10-20 lbs of total weight and your own good judgment for installation. I cannot be responsible for your judgment.  This item weighs about 4 lbs without jewelry so be careful and thoughtful on where you would like to install it.  If you use 1" Heavy Duty Double Sided Foam Tape (NOT included) make sure that it is new-fresh and non-yellowed AND THAT the surface is clean, dry, smooth and non-porous.  Not recommended for wallpapered walls.  Be sure to FOLLOW the tape manufacturer’s DIRECTIONS.

6. Do you have suggestions on where I should install it? 

ANSWER - Yes, several

·         On a wall in your bedroom.

·         Inside your dressing room or closet

·         On a wall behind a closet or bedroom door.

·         In plain sight near your vanity or mirror.    

7. Do you combine shipping?

ANSWER - Yes.  I do combine shipping prior to payment.  So, before your pay “Request an invoice for all” when shopping is complete keeping the 7 day limit between sales in mind.

Comparisons: 

Some jewelry organizers and earring holders claim to hold rings, bracelets, necklaces and anywhere from 35 to 128 pairs of earrings.  For many of them that would only be true if your rings were tiny, bracelets were small, necklaces were all light weight and short and your earrings were all the size of a pea and they usually all overlapped on top of one another.  Most earring storage systems don’t seem to work very well or as promised.  Jewelry boxes don’t work for long or large necklaces, chandelier, dangle or long beaded earrings, plus you have to search for them opening and closing drawers before you find the ones you were looking for and they get tangled and damaged.  Cheap metal jewelry organizers can corrode your jewelry.  Many of them look, well ... just plain cheap or are made for young girls or are quite inconvenient to use.

2. If requesting to COMBINE SHIPPING on items, there cannot be more than 7 days between the close of the first sale and receipt of full payment of all items.  Please keep this in mind when bidding on several items. Combined shipments have to be requested by the buyer and paid for on the same "ONE" combined invoice.  Separately paid invoices may not get combined in shipping.  To remedy this:  Do not pay until you are finished shopping, then request an invoice for all keeping the 7 day limit between first purchase and last purchase in mind.
