I am a book dealer and examined the books to be in mint condition and appear to have never been read. I then shrink wrap the books. I purchased these books several years ago.
The front and back covers are designed with 22 kt gold gilding. The
hubbed spine has gold lettering and design, lustrous moire fabric
endsheets, gold gilded page ends, and permanently bound-in,
satin-ribbon page marker. Pages are printed on archival quality paper
which is acid-neutral and conforms to all guidelines established for
permanence and durability by the Council of Library Resources and the
American National Standards Institute. These do not include bookplates (which can be purchased) or letters.
