This small Biblically significant coin has part of the anchor image. The reverse side (not pictuered) is basically blank. Excellent detail and contrast with the coin's natural patina. Excellent for giving or keeping for one's own collection. You can use this coin as an effective Bible study aid when giving the story of the poor widow Mark 12.

The pictures shows both side of the same coin.

This coin comes in a coin flip and coin envelope which identifies the coin as a widow's mite coin. Can also be purchased with an olive wood "widow's mite" box from Jerusalem. See my eBay stores for detail.

Yes, this coin is authentic and circulated during the time of Jesus Christ. It was minted from 103-76 BC under Alexander Jannaeus, King and High Priest of Judea.
