Limited rugs by Ed Kuber. All designs are traditional native designs from the paintings of Ed Kuber. The actual designs are woven in Napel and designed in Juneau Alaska. The rugs are 100% wool and about 120 knots per squire inch. This rug is 145 cm around.
Ed Kuber is a gifted artist from Juneau, AK. He graduated with a graphic design degree in 1978. While studying art and graphic design, he became fascinated with Pacific Northwest Native art. Kuber has created these art form in hand woven carpets, which have become internationally popular collectibles.
In addition to his carpets, Kuber has released intricate paintings which includes: “To The Rescue”, Howling, Prowling Wolves”, “Dancing Blankets”, “Askance Glance”, and “Flying South” all of which display unparalleled style. Kuber has made an impact on the Alaskan art scene by placing native designs in a dimensional setting. The essence of Kuber’s art is the mystical air of life and legend.
