Signed E.P. Hillary on title page and a photograph of Hillary signing the book for the previous owner has been pasted into the book on the front page providing provenance. 

The owner has also pasted in 2 pictures of Hillary from newspapers, one on the second page, the reverse of the page with the photograph, and the second on the very last page.

Condition:

I would say the book is in good condition.  The dustjacket has suffered some wear and tear, particularly at the edges, but there are no major tears and it's not price-clipped.  There is some tanning on  the pages with the pasted in pictures, and the newspaper picture on page 2 has caused tanning on the opposing page.
