This is a lovely matched pair and finely carved, smaller earring shell cameos. The cameos have minor, normal expected wear, but are in overall very good condition for their age. The settings being fine filigree work remind me more of the delicate workmanship of the Edwardian Era. Both of these earrings are missing the back post or loop that would allow them to be worn. I do not think it woud be too difficult a repair by a trained jewel to put either posts on the back or a loop so a "dangle" can go through, and then they could be worn as dangle earrings as originally worn. I kind of like the setting, but if you don't, these could also be entirely reset in what you like. The metal is not marked, ironically any marking would have likely been on the missing parts. My guess is that these are gold, gold filled or vermeil (gold over silver). Needless to say I am selling these completely "as found", so please keep that in mind when bidding. The cameos themselves each measure approx. .5"x .25", with the entire piece measuring approx. 1"x .25". I am pleased to offer these pretty little cameos for consideration, and would love to think of them as restored and someone enjoying them. Check out my other items!

I DO NOT sell to Poland or Spain. The mail is too slow and complaints are too high, mail delivery rates have been 1-2 months!. Postcards are shipped in cardboard and rigid plastic sleeves to protect from damage, I DO NOT profit from postage.

The postage cost for outside the US is $3.00 for postcards in the rigid protector. Please inquire regarding postage rates for other items outside of the US.
