This is a lovely brooch. I have had similiar but larger ones like this marked simply "Germany", but this one is smaller and has no marks. It is very beautifully made with the center cabachon purple glass "stone", then there are 4 similiar glass "stones" as accent pieces. This pin or brooch measures approx. 1.75" across and appears to me to be in overall good condition for its age. The metal appear to be brass metal, with some light gilding, and again appears to be in overall good condition for its age. The style of this pin, material used, etc, suggests a c1910 Edwardian pin or brooch. I am pleased to offer this appealing item for consideration. Check out my other items!
