You are looking at a rare gem. This is an Edwards Gen III Trumpet less than a year old purchased directly from the Edwards factory. It's a raw brass body with a silver bell. It also comes with Satin gold top and heavy bottom valve caps, and finger buttons. The true beauty and artistry of this instrument can't be captured in the photos you see here. I'm only parting with it because I'm in a military band, and the other trumpet players in my unit loved it so much, we bought the same horn for our unit. I don't need two! This is absolutely the best trumpet I've ever played. It has a beautiful warm tone, and when you "step on the gas" it opens right up and the tone just begs to be heard. This horn "wants to play". I've got a Yamaha double trumpet case I'll include for the buyer.
 

The Generation III Bb trumpet offers an integral leadpipe system which allows a player to change leadpipes efficiently. This design creates improved stability throughout the harmonic series compared to non-modular trumpets. This horn comes with a D4 leadpipe, which is a Large with a venturi of 0.351" Great for Classical and solo work.

This Generation III  Standard weight Bb K22 Bell is a handcrafted (one-piece) in yellow brass with a 4 7/8"" bell flare.

The valve section is constructed with nickel silver pistons in either vented or non-vented valves. Vented valves create an effortless approach to using the first and third valve slides as they move freely whether the pistons are in the up or down position. They seal as well as standard valves and possess the same playing characteristics as a standard valve set.

The nickel silver valves produce the finest action available in the industry. They are simply the fastest valves available....period.

The Generation III tuning slide is oval in shape. This unique design allows the instrument to play very even in all registers. It also allows the extreme upper register to respond faster than on standard instruments.

There is a very tiny dent in the bell near the rim. I tried to get a picture, but it just wouldn't show. Must have happened when putting in a mute. Otherwise, it's in new condition. It's just been professionally cleaned it an ultrasonic cleaner and is ready for it's new owner.
