This projector supports HDTV and component video. See the specifications in the User's Manual for HDTV compatibility details.
The supplied cables make it very easy to hook it up to your Sat box, Cable box, Game box, VCR or DVD player. If your cable box doesn't have video out, (most do) hook it up to your VCR and use the tuner in it to watch off the air, cable shows, etc.
This projector can also be used with your laptop or computer. (SXGA max resolution.) The cable for that purpose is included. Sorry, but I don't have the remote control.
Use a regular screen or any white or off-white wall. Screen size as small as 30 to 400 inches diagonal. That's right, it can project a picture 33 FEET diagonal! This projector can be ceiling mounted, and If wanted, I'll locate an inexpensive compatible ceiling mount for the winning bidder.
With 2500 lumens brightness, this projector produces stunning projected images. It's bright enough that you can leave the lights on with no problem! It's very conservatively rated and as bright as some projectors I've seen rated at 3500 Lumens or more!
The lamp in this projector has only been used for 120 hours. You should be able to watch hundreds and hundreds of movies, TV shows, or sporting events before the lamp needs to be replaced.
