GENERAL DVD INFO:  
This DVD is a slight departure from the VGL series which normally deals with teaching rhythm and lead lines to some of the worlds greatest classic rock tunes.  This DVD does not teach any songs or licks! It is a preliminary discussion about the basics of guitar pickups and the things that go into getting replacing electric guitar pickups. 

GUITAR PICKUP UPGRADES DVD:  This subject is mainly divided into 2 categories of info & demos: Strat type pickups attached to a pickguard, and Les Paul style pickups that are top mounted without use of a pickguard.  Demos sections include actual pickup replacement and upgrades on both types of guitars.  It does not try to cover every possible wiring scheme as many different custom wirings are available for both single coil and humbucker pickups.  The intent is to give a good idea of what is involved in changing pickups by discussing the basics and steps involved and actually seeing a demo of pickup replacement to 'demystify' the process and show the average player that it is possible to do some of these things on their own.
