My name is Dan Treanor. I posted a review on Harmony Central a while back on a Agile that I purchased through your internet store. In response to my review I was contacted by Ed Mili, who wanted to get my views on this particular guitar. He said that you would possibly like to use my review on your website for Agile guitars. That would be fine with me. I love this guitar! I'm a professional blues musician - www.dantreanor.com - and to me a guitar is a tool that allows me to do my job. This Agile is one of the best "tools" I've ever had. I plan on getting one of the AL3000s in the furture. I'm really looking forward to what kind of "tool" it may turn out to be. A true test of a guitar is how it holds up to 200-250 gigs a year, the road, cramped vans, airline baggage. I'm hard on my guitars because I play them so much. So far this litte gold top has taken everything I've dished out to it and sounds better and better all the time. Yours, Dan Treanor 7-2005
Hey all! My older brother has wanted to learn to play guitar for some time, and decided it was now or never. I've been playing for 7-8 years by now and I know quite a bit about gear, so I offered to help him pick out a good guitar. He originally wanted to buy one of the cheap-looking starter packages from Musician's Friend, but I encouraged him to check out your site. I'm glad he did!
He ordered an AL2000 in and received in in only 2 days. The guitar looks beautiful, especially for the price. With a little tweaking (action & truss rod), it plays and sounds beautifully too (it was still pretty good right out of the box). For $200, I think this looks and sounds almost as good as the $500 Epi LPs out there. It's the best bang for the buck value I've seen and it's cool enough that he won't outgrow it in 6 months (like with those cheap bolt-on SGs that MF is selling). I wish I knew about your site when I bought my first guitar! I just wanted to say thanks for a great guitar, an awesome deal, and a good start for my brother's musical goals! 5/2005 -Michael Donahue
"I've had to take a break from playing my new guitar long enough to send you a thank you note. First of all, I ordered this from E-Bay, screwed around paying for it, and YOU STILL DELIVERED WITHIN 5 DAYS!!!! You rock! When I opened the box, I was amazed. This guitar is one of the finest looking guitars I've ever seen. Because I don't want to sound like I wouldn't know, I custom paint guitars, cars, motorcycles, boats, and everything else. I know what a great finish looks like, and this guitar has one. I bought this guitar with the idea that I was going to custom paint it and sell it. However, as soon as my wife seen it, she said I couldn't paint it....OR SELL IT!! Determined to find out why this guitar was priced so low, I was 100% sure that although it looked nice, it must sound like a cheap guitar. NO WAY!! I PLUGGED IT IN AND DIDN'T STOP PLAYING IT FOR OVER 4 HOURS. It took minimal adjustment, and I did have to tune 1 string, but after that, it has become my favorite guitar. I currently own 2 Ibanez guitars, 1 Gibson Les Paul, 2 custom built and painted guitars, a Taylor and a Martin acoustic guitars. This guitar will hang with pride with all of my other big boys. There is NO difference between this guitar and my Gibson equivalent (accept the action is lower on my AGILE guitar:). I will be ordering another one soon. Maybe you can scratch it up for me so my wife will let me paint it!!!! Thanks again, Chris Taggart 4-2005
" Kurt, Just to let you know, I came into your store yesterday and bought one of the Agile (+ case). I got it home and put a fresh set of strings on it and I just can't beleve the sound the look or the price! I've been playing guitar from 35+ years and this is a as fine a guitar as I've ever played! I own Gibsons, Fenders and Epiphones. This is now my main guitar! I still can't get over the quality of this thing. It's the best deal that I've ever seen. Thanks so much for selling on EBAY, as I'm sure I would have never even known about you guys. You've got a new customer. Thanks again, John"
> > > "My personal oppinion on this guitar is that it kicks its competitors in their teeth. A real set neck Guitar with playability and tone for under 300 bucks!!! Of course i only have this one example of this model to judge all others by. If the consistantcy of quality stays high in this model then they have a winner."Submitted by Robby Sigman 07/08/2001
"The Agile arrived today; I just wanted to tell you that this has been one of the best guitar purchases I've made in the past ten years. I've been playing for 15 years, and have had more than my fair share of gear - including two Les Pauls (69 and 83). The LP2000 is great - one of the best "styled" guitars I've had the pleasure to own. Please convey my thanks to the staff at Rondo; you can expect me to buy another guitar in the near future. best regards, Mark Simpson" 3-28-2003
"....by the way the Agile guitar I got from you isn't bad. I used it the other night at the Calvin with Buddy Guy!! He loved it! for the money its a sweet little thing.Everyone loves the blue color." 6-2002 "I Hello Kurt: I recieved the Agile Guitar and CNB case last Thursday. Both arived in excellent condition. The case looks to be the same as some I looked at at some of the "discount" music stores for three times the price. The guitar is absolutely beautiful plays excellent, beautiful tone, very well finished, apears to be a very expensive guitar. freinds who have seen and played are sure I paid a lot of money for this guitar. The problem that I have is my wife would rather play my Agile than her Gibson. She says the Agile plays much better and sounds just as good. Thanks very much for the recomendation and the great guitar. Most important to me this Agile guitar stays in tune. Burt" 11/19/2001
" Hey! I just got my set neck flametop from you all and the thing is georgeous! Laid it out next to my buddy Tony's lefty Gibson Les Paul Standard, and it is nearly impossible to discern any differences in geometry or finish between the two. Well, except that his cost FIVE AND A HALF TIMES more. Neck, frets, action finish - all are top-drawer! Thanks for your prompt service. PS - that $49.95 case cannot be beat either! Good overall quality." Peter in Sacramennah
" Recieved the guitar yesterday (1/4/02)-- I put the order in 1/1 so I don't think you could ask for faster service than that.. I've only been playing for a few years so at this point I think $2000 guitars would be a waste given my current abilities.....I've been playing a Squire Tele but the Agile, looks, sounds and feels a helluva lot nicer....I'd pretty much have to agree with the HC reviews.... Frets are nice & smooth,(run your hand along the edge of the Squire & if feels like a dull saw blade).Finish is beautiful. I don't know much about making guitars but I've done some cabinet making and have a decent eye for spotting flaws and poor fit/finish.. The guitar seems very well made-...I'm a happy customer--thx-- Dave Bailey January 02, 2002
" I just received my Agile L and I'm so impressed. I used to own a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe (gold top). That my parents bought me in 1977 brand new. I truly think this is as good as the real thing. Thanks Rondomusic. O yeah! The service and professionalism is just as good as the product. This organization is top shelf! 5-2002
