This is the successor to the famed EV 630. The moving coil dynamic element, the patented EV AcoustAlloy has an output level of -57 db (0db = 1 volt/dyne/cm2). The shell shall be made of die-cast zinc, the finish shall be satin chrome. WIDE dynamic range, and big, strong bottom. Killer output.
As you can see from the pictures, it is also a great looking mic, in excellent condition. This mic has no pitting, but the screen is ever so slightly bent on one side, which does not effect its performance in any way. Tiny scratches. Over all, looks fantastic. SEE ALL PHOTOS.
The mic works perfectly. It is one of the best cupping mics you will find, especially if you have smaller hands. These mics routinely sell for upwards of $200 on Ebay, in "untested" condition?
