 You are bidding on an Elgin Veritas 16 size, 23 Jewel, with an unusual double sunk Montgomery dial showing 24 hr dial in center, produced in 1922 by the Elgin Watch Co., serial number 25271024, watch keeping excellent time. Lever set, adjusted 5 positions, S.W.C.Co.12 KT gold filled case, the case shows Elgin R.R. under crown. Please look at all pictures posted to better appreciate this quality timepiece.  Any questions please ask prior to close of auction.  This watch is in mint condition and running strong, as with all the watches I sell it  "AS IS", no returns, once it leaves my home I no longer have control.  I recommend to my customers that a watch of this age be serviced, as necessary, based on intended use.  This is a fine addition to all collectors, GOOD LUCK.

A: No brass showing anywhere, slight surface scratching on back of case but can easily be buffed out by any jeweler. This is a great piece, good luck. Thanks for the question and interest.
