This is an very nice Elgin VERITAS pocket watch, this watch is a railroad approved watch. The watch is a size 16, 23 jewels, adjusted to five (5) positions and was produced around 1918. This is an open face design, stem wound, lever set the serial number is 21,770,016. The dial is double sunk and is in great condition with no hairline cracks or chips in the enamel. The case is stainless steel, the back has scratches from being carried other wise looks like new. The watch runs and keeps time, the crystal has a scratch at the two o'clock position, there are a few a few minor scratches from being carried.  The watch keeps perfect time this will make a nice addition to your collection.  Thanks for looking and if you have questions please ask.
