Babywearing is a beautiful bonding experience for both you and your child. Wearing your baby in a sling gives them all the comforts they experienced before joining us outside the womb! I am a WAHM with an educational background in psychology and early childhood development and strongly believe in the benefits of attachment parenting. I have been wearing my children and making slings for almost 3 years and love sharing the importance of babywearing.
My website offers fabric choices as well as the option of a custom sling. All my slings are a one size fits most (2.75 yards of fabric) made of 100% cotton. Welded steel rings (strength tested to over 1000 lbs) complete my unpadded slings (slightly padded on shoulder from folds) that can hold a child of no more than 35 pounds. I make each sling as if I were to wear my own children in them. Their construction should last years from normal wearing.
There are many different ways to wear your child in a ring sling. Please visit my website for photos and more information:

Studies have shown that wearing your child stimulates both their physical and emotional well being. Improved IQ, balance, a reduction in crying, discreet nursing and a relaxed state of alertness (optimum for learning) are just a few of the advantages. Not only are you giving your child a great start, babywearing allows you to spend precious time with your child hands free. Enjoy your babywearing experience!
The fabric you are bidding on is a beautiful Vintage White w/Beige Flowers. It comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home. Wearing instructions as well as links to aid in your babywearing are included.
The sling will be made when the auction has ended. The star sling pictured is an example of the finished product.

Happy Babywearing!
*Please use common sense when wearing your child, remember they are not fastened in. Regular inspection of the sling for wear and tear is
mandatory for child safety. Do not use the sling with an uncooperative child; it is possible for them to climb out of the sling. Do not use while cooking
or drinking hot liquids. ALWAYS have one hand on or near your child, and bend at the knees while wearing your child, not at the waist. I guarantee the strength of my sling to hold a child no more than 35 lbs if used correctly.
Please educate yourself on how to use the sling before wearing your child. I am not responsible for sling misuse.
