In May 2007,
Elvis Costello did a special performance at his favorite record store – Village
Music in Mill Valley, California. It was a bittersweet moment. After 40 years of existence, this record store run by John Goddard was
shutting down, and Elvis came to visit the store one last time.Since 1977, Elvis had a
point of visiting this store ever since his first visit when he first stumbled
upon the place during his debut American tour.Over the years, he made a point of returning to visit, even
playing a special private party for John Goddard that resulted a unique
performance of Elvis playing with Jerry Garcia, Sammy Hagar and Annie Sampson.
So, in May 2007, Elvis Costello played to a standing-room only crowd of customers
at Village Music, and then stuck around to sign autographs for a few hundred
people.What I’m offering on
eBay is a very special poster created especially for this event. It’s extremely limited to say the
least.
I’m selling
this poster to raise money towards completion of a documentary on the world’s
most misunderstood rock song.I’ve got a lot of expenses I’ve got to deal with, and I’m thinking
someone out there in eBay land would love to own this.Maybe it’s you?
This poster
measures 12” x 18” and is in excellent condition.I can mail it in a cardboard tube, or if you want to
spend a little more for a special flat cardboard container, I can do that too.

Orders are usually shipped once a week. This is strictly a part-time operation, as I have a day job with odd hours, so I'm not always as fast as other dealers. Combine orders to save on postage.
