I have Panic Disorder and this book has helped me tremendously. It explains what you may be experiencing and how to allow the sensations you're feeling - which in turn will alleviate the symptoms. This is a difficult process, however, effective. It also shows you how the difference between A talk and B talk. Individuals with Anxiety/Panic Disorder tend to do alot of A talking and it explains how to try to change it to more B talk -- putting less pressure on the person. I met one of the authors, Judith Bemis, in person back in the 90's. I definitely recommend this book.
