You can use this wonderful bullion patch on Hats and Caps, Military, Yacht, Renaissance and Medieval Costumes and Uniforms, Shirt and Jacket pockets, and in a variety of crafts.  It is thickly embroidered with real metal threads, and metallic cord and can be sewn on, or attached with glue.  I recommend the product GOOP, which is readily available at hardware and craft stores.

This patch came from a high end fabric store that specialized in costume fabrics, antique lace, and vintage patches.  The store had been in business for more than 60 years.
