Up for auction is an excellent 1933 Emerson, Art Deco Bakelite Case BC tube radio model 429. This beauty is in excellent working condition and is operating as it should. As you can see in the pictures, the case is just stunning with a few minor scratches but no cracks or chips, see photos. Please note that this is not a repainted radio, so it's all original with a beautiful and natural gloss. The BC or AM band works great and all the stations come in clear, loud and accurate with no hum or distortion, external antenna required. I was able to pick-up some of the South East WI AM stations such as 620 WTMJ, 920 WOKY, 1130 WISN and also few Illinois AM channels such as 560 WIND, 720 WGN, 780 WBBM, 890 WLS. The (2) Emerson knobs are 100% original and in place. All tubes test well and strong.
