A truly beautiful- very solid and VERY heavy, cast wall plaque. Cast in high relief (as in it is very 3 dimensional and sticks out a lot) The image is very detailed and dramatic as shown, as if frozen in time. Two knights in armour are jousting on horseback. A Gothic inspired border frames the pair- the whole effect is extremely well done- and these plaques actually sell for hundreds of dollars new (Do a search on Google for Marcus Designs) This one is second hand- and just has a few small chips here and there that would benefit from colouring in- whereby you would be hard pressed to find any damage at all. In nay case the plaque looks brilliant as is. Label at back reads Hand made in England by Marcus Designs,
