...Born in Bordeaux, Rancoulet was a pupil of Lequesne and the municipal school of Bordeaux. He exhibited at the Salon between 1870 and 1876 and is best known for his works cast in bronze.  Ernest Rancoulet was a 19th century artist of immense talent, whose sculptures are listed in books and showcased in museums and private collections the world over....
