Hailing from the small South East Texas Gulf town of Palacios, Crystal has made quite a name for herself within the Texas Art Scene. Coming from an artistic background, her father a well known landscape artist, Stanley "Red" Wright, would immerse the family in art and travel. Every year the family would travel to New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona and Utah to take part in and visit all the art galleries and exhibitions. This influence has led and inspired Crystal's career. In 1999, she graduated The Art Institute of Houston for Graphic Design and since has become a very successful working artist in the Houston area.
