Up for your bidding consideration is a Rare collection of Courvoisier Cognac bottles designed by famed Art Deco artist and fashion illustrator Erte over 20 years ago. All seven bottles are sealed with original boxes, original plastic covers,Limited Edition Certifications, and booklets. All boxes and contents are in mint condition! Any questions, feel free to ask and please have a look at my other auctions and website. A little bit of the history of Cognac:

The legendary Cognac house commissioned the seven bottle collection set from the Russian-born artist for its extraordinary blend of precious Grande Champagne cognacs, some dating back to 1892. The last remaing sets which had been held in reserve are now selling for $10,000+

Each of the seven bottles' designs represents a different facet of the Cognac making process:

Edition #1. Vigne (vine) Shows the impotance of the soil and environment to the grapes produced to make Cognac.

Edition #2 Vendanges (Harvest) celebrates the passion of perfection for which Couvoisier is best known.

Edition #3 Distillation illustrates the process of distillation as a woman riding a volatile giant peacock.

Edition #4 Vieillissment (Aging) symbolizes the aging process as a robed female emerging from darkness.

Edition #5 Degustation (Tasting) shows the blending process of the cognacs.

Edition #6 L'Espirit du Cognac (The spirit of Cognac) interprets the cognac spirit as a woman standing majestically surrounded by grapes.

Edition #7 La Part Des Anges (Angel's Share) symbolizes part of the aging process where some of the spirits' volume is lost through evaporation.
