Essential oils are the volatile, aromatic oils obtained by steam or hydrodistillation of botanicals. Most essential oils are primarily composed of terpenes and their oxygenated derivatives. Different parts of the plants can be used to obtain essential oils, including the flowers, leaves, seeds, roots, stems, bark, wood, etc. Certain cold-pressed oils, such as the oils from various citrus peels, are also considered to be essential oils but these are not to be confused with cold-pressed fixed or carrier oils such as olive, grapeseed, apricot kernel, etc. which are non-volatile oils composed mainly of fatty acid triglycerides. Other aromatic, plant-derived oils, which technically aren't essential oils because they are solvent extracted, include Absolutes (hexane followed by ethanol extraction), CO2's (liquid carbon dioxide used as the solvent) and phytols or florosols (fluoro-hydrocarbon solvent).

Payment
Payment must be received within 10 days. We accept all credit cards through Paypal. Money orders & personal check also accepted. Orders will be shipped after the personal check has cleared. This can take up to 10 days. NO CODS.
Fees
We do not charge sales tax on our eBay site. We will pay the sales tax on sales that are made within our home state of Illinois. We charge a reasonable handling fee above the cost of shipping to cover the cost of shipping materials.
Shipping
We ship exclusively U.S.P.S. Normally we ship First Class Mail or Priority Mail. All of our shipping charges are figured using the actual weight of the packaged item. All charges are based on the USPS charges. We also do Express Mail for overnight shipments. Outside the USA we ship USPS Global Priority Mail. We ship worldwide.
Delivery
We normally ship most orders within 24 hours. Orders received by 3:00 pm Monday through Thursday (CST) will ship next day. Orders Received Friday, Saturday & Sunday will normally ship Tuesday morning at the latest. This will apply to orders paid by check once the check has cleared.
Refunds & Returns
The Scented Realm ltd cannot guarantee that you will like the incense you have purchased. Each person is different, and it is impossible to ensure a product will be to your liking. All of the descriptions are either direct from the manufacturer, or our best educated description. The Scented Realm ltd will guarantee that the product will arrive to you in good shape, without damage. The Scented Realm ltd will also guarantee against defects in manufacturers's workmanship as well as any item that is misrepresented by either description or picture. Should you receive an order that either has been damaged in shipping or has a defect in manufacturers workmanship, you will need to e-mail with the details. You will have 7 days from receipt of your order to contact our customer service department. We will not be responsible for damage or defects after 7 days from receipt. When possible The Scented Realm ltd will choose to replace item, refunds can only be fulfilled if the item is returned to us. Damage from misuse or mishandling is not covered.

If you order more than one item from me, eBay will combine items to save you shipping charges. All items are shipped in boxes, bubble envelopes or stiff cardboard flat packs to avoid breakage. Items shipped in U.S. are either First Class (13 ounces or less) or Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Express mail for 1-day ship time. Outside the U.S. we ship Priority Mail or Express Mail International with tracking.
