This auction is for a super nice Hamilton 16 size 950B Railway Special. It has a beautiful original double sunk dial with an ever so faint hairline between 1 & 2. Bold Arabic dial is signed "Hamilton Railway Special". Nice baton type original hands. According to a book we referenced this is case model #17 with no visable brassing, no dents other than one tiny peck along the outside rim and only very fine faint scratches overall from general use - it should polish up beautifully and is marked inside "Hamilton Watch Co. Lancaster, Pa - Star Watch Case Company 10k Gold Filled". Movement is super clean and appears to be running fine. It is marked "Hamilton Watch Co. USA 950B 23 jewels #S6022" (believe that to be around 1947) Ever so fine scratches on the winding wheels but very faint. I believe I have described this watch accurately and it nor I have nothing to hide but by all means ask questions on anything that is not clear to you and I will do my best to answer it before the auction ends but don't wait until after the auction ends to clarify. Very, very realistic reserve just to avoid a disaster in this economy but the seller who's father passed this watch on to him is very motivated to sell it and I'm just helping him out - sorry I won't reveal the reserve and there is no "Buy it Now" so happy bidding to all. Quoted shipping price does not include insurance but you may add that if you so desire.
