***Fabulous Vintage Watercolor Painting***
Here is an absolutely stunning original watercolor painting on silk! It is a lovely landscape scene. The painting is signed in the bottom right corner (see photos).
This is from a wealthy estate and, judging by the other items from the estate, we believe it to be Chinese, but we are not sure. It is absolutely gorgeous! The original owners were world travelers who brought back many lovely items from their travels.
This gorgeous original watercolor painting on silk is framed in the vintage frame in which it was purchased. The opening in the mat for the painting measures about 7 inches by 10 1/2inches in size, and the frame measures about 10 1/2 inches by 15 1/2 inches. It has the original paper still sealing the back; we have not removed it from the frame. There is a foil seal on the back which says "SH" and "Strouss Hirshberg's."
