Exceptional Black Forest Cuckoo Clock with Music!!

SIMPLY STUNNING!!We are very excited to offer you this black forest cuckoo clock that dates from the second quarter of the 20th C. (c. 1945).We were lucky to acquire this Black Forest cuckoo clock from a lovely Private estate in the South of Germany near Munich!The cuckoo clock is made of the finest birch wood and has a gorgeous patina.This is a beautifully crafted clock ,complete and in perfect working order.The moment you hear that distinctive call as the cuckoo pops out of the little door in the carved wood, you'll be transported back to a time of great clock making in the Black Forest.The little right door is the door that the Cuckoo bird comes out of and coo coos once on the half hour and on the hour as many times needed for the time of day. While the bird is Coo cooing , there is a chime that sounds in the back ground.On the full hour a musician comes out the little left door and plays a wunderful melody.There are two different melodies.The clock has an EIGHT DAYS clock work and is driving by three pine cone iron weights and leaf pendulum.The clock case is carved with a peacock, two rabbits and many leaves.The clock case is signed with: "Th.W." and is probably made by Theodorus Winckelmann,the most famous clock case maker in the Black Forest.The dimensions are:Height 26 Inches(without the weights and pendulum), Width: 19 Inches and Depth 9,5 Inches.Regarding shipping we will pack the clock in a wooden box so you will receive it without damage.
