Exquisite c1920 AUSTRIAN Filigree Enamel JEWELED Compact

Just so very special.

This mini-compact is marked AUSTRIA and is a lacey ormolu metal with tiny bezel set jewels and lovely floral enamel applied pieces. The intricate and busy design really inhance the colorful display. Pearls, faceted oval, square and round colored stones(probably glass) are all present with a couple having some flakes or chipping(hard to notice unless using a loupe).

The interior is nice and shows the sliding dial were the powder is under and can be released. My pictures do not include the beautiful design on the outer 11mm rim, very lovely. Mirror to is fine, a few spots but nothing unexpected for almost 100 years old.

A smidge under 2" across. Very good Antique condition.

A: No stones missing, I think 2-3 have flakes or shipping, no bad, difficult to see unless using a loupe, it is a beauty, over all I think it is a VERY good condition piece, the enamel is perfect too, thanks
