Extreme Primitive
Raggedy Ann & Andy

Made from a Pattern Created by Kentucky Primitives
These extreme prim Ann & Andy are 21" and 22" tall.
Here's a close up of their faces.
Annie

Andy

Made from muslin which has been put through a prim process.
The noses are needle sculpted and the eyes and mouths are stitched with red embroidery thread.
The hair is made from rusty wire which has been curled and then painted sparsely with red paint.
They have sticks for arms.

Their clothes have also been coffee stained.
Their sweaters are from a very nubby fabric along with the ticking material used for their pants and skirt.
Red for Annie and blue for Andy.
There is a button attached to the collars of small red and blue check fabric over their sweaters.
Here's Annie.

Here's Andy.

The trees and heart are also made from muslin that has been painted and then baked for an extreme grungy look.
The trees have twigs for their trunks and I've attached rusty bells to their branches.
The heart and tree are not permanently attached so you can add them during the holidays if you wish.
Here what they look like from the back.
