A very fine book on tektites and very hard to get in this condition. This book with dust jacket is in new condition. It is a first edition hardbound book printed in 1976. This is the one book on tektites that should be in every meteorite and tektite collectors book collection.  This book is one of the finest books on tektites and comes out of the Edwin Thompson collection of books on meteorites, tektites and planetary science.  This collection took thirty years to build and several of the books in this collection can only be found here in this series of collection offerings. Starting today; March 19th, 2009 this world renowned collection will be offered for sale. It will take some time to list over 650 publications and it should be great fun for collectors to see many of these titles offered for the first time in their collecting period.
