This is an extremely rare & desirable early American doll in top condition with the original costume of the era, which would be the early 1800's. Only imperfection seems a small crack in the bisque head.
Be sure to carefully check all the photos before bidding. If you are not sure of what you are doing either get the right information before bidding or please do not bid.
Has been in the family for more than 30-years and came from a top doll dealer, now deceased but from Long Island, NY.
Workmanship is exceptional so possible a European import for the growing market among well to do American families but high unusual pewter limbs, which are hand painted, of course.
