dated 1824, Welforg, Stratford.

 

The paintings:

Beautiful, very calm and pastel landscape scenes of rural life!

Cows, figures, houses and a church at background. Great pair! Good condition!

Medium- Watercolor on paper.

 the painting executed in 1824, both signed- one is F Watts, second is FWW 1824

 Nice old frames, old framers stickers

Dimensions: 6 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches

Frame is about 7 1/2  " by 5  1/2 "

 

Condition:

The paintings are in fine shape!

have some minor age discoloration, but nothing major! No Restoration or touch ups! No need to invest to restore!

The artist is well listed through all Art sources including Askart, Artnet, Davenport, Artprice, Benezit etc.

In Davenport artist is listed up to $12,000

Artnet shows one painting reached $38,000 at Sotheby's in 2000.
