 FABULOUS 1883 APPLIQUED QUILT.   APPROX 12 STITCHES PER INCH.  HAND QUILTED, THIN BATTING.   I AM NOT A QUILT EXPERT. BUT KNOW A GOOD THING WHEN I SEE IT.  THIS IS A GREAT THING.  MEASURES APPROX. 82 1/2 INCHES BY APPROX 78 INCHES.  I DID NOT PULL TO MEASURE.  I TOOK THE PICTURES OUTSIDE SO MAY BE SOME SHADOWS.  QUILT IS IN SHADES OF RED FLOWERS, BROWNISH LEAVES, CHEDDAR. WHITE BACKGROUND.  STITCHING IS INTENSIVE.  DOES HAVE ONE FLOWER LEAVE WITH A SMALL HOLE.  APPROX. 3 SMALL WATER STAINS ON BACK WHITE SIDE.  I DID NOT WASH. IT IS AS FOUND.   NO TEARS.  THE QUILT DOES LAY FLAT BEAUTIFULLY.  I HAVE A COMFORTER UNDER THE QUILT FOR THE PICTURES, TO KEEP OF THE GROUND.  A TRUE ARTIST MADE THIS LOVELY QUILT.  I NOTICED A COUPLE PLACES WHERE A FEW STITCHES CAME LOOSE.  I AM NOT A ARTIST, SO CHOOSE NOT TO TRY TO SEW. EASY FIX.  HOPE THIS LOVELY QUILT GOES TO A HOME WHO WILL KEEP IT FOR ITS NEXT 116 YEARS.  ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO E-MAIL.   THANKS FOR LOOKING
