I am pleased to offer for sale this FABULOUS RARE BLACKHAWK BEER ADVERTISING SIGN IN UNTOUCHED CONDITION.The sign advertises beer for the BLACKHAWK BREWING CO.DAVENPORT,IOWA  SINCE 1882.The sign measures 13 3/8 inches tall by 11 inches wide.The Indian Chief and the wording is all embossed.The material appears to be hard rubber. I believe the sign dates to the 1930's or 1940's. The signs were given to tavern owner who sold this brand of beer.This is a BEAUTIFUL sign with OUTSTANDING colors. There is a tight aging crack in the rubber that runs under the chiefs bottom feather from the outside to just about the top of his head. I hardly noticed it the first time I looked at it, and is really nothing considering the rarity and collector quality of this RARE SIGN.  There are very few paint loss specks around the outside trim but again hardly nothing too speak of. There is NO fading at all on this INCREDIBLE sign. This is a once in a blue moon chance to own this FANTASTIC RARE beer advertising sign.
