YOU'LL LOVE THIS ONE! Check out the incredible amount of detail on this including the original urn filigree and matching urn handle pulls. The desk has been refinished top to bottom and handpainted by us in our custom blended French White paint (an aged white with a touch of creamy color added) and distressed to bring out the delicious contrasting dark wood underneath. We always apply multiple coats of paint by hand and by brush which results in an incredibly lush finish & silky feel that can NOT be achieved with spray paints.

We found a factory tag on the bottom of one drawer (see picture). It reads: Scholle Fruniture Company, Wabash Ave., Chicago. It is in excellent condition with a few minor imperfections. The secretary chest on top has 2 cubby holes and two drawers. Cubby holes are probably just missing the drawers but still totally useful! The secretary top and drawers are curved. The desk has a few typical dents and dings mostly on the table top. Just above the right cubby there is a little knick out of the edge.

This antique desk is strong and made of solid wood. Dates to about the 1920's. Would be a stunning entry table! No old repairs and she's ready to last another 90+ years. The dovetailed drawers have gorgeous dark wood inside and are clean. As gorgous as she looks in these pictures you'll agree she's even prettier in person! Our refinishing process includes a thorough quality assessment, cleaning and making any repairs or improvements needed, making sure the drawers slide easily, etc. We only use U.S. made water-based, lead-free paints.
