This is a MIK copy of a PRS Custom 24. It is in mint condition. It's a great guitar, but I need some extra money to help me out right now. -Solid mahogany body -Spalted maple top (red) -Mahogany set-neck (amazingly comfortable neck, my favorite thing about it) -Rosewood fingerboard (24 frets) -12" neck radius -1 5/8" bone nut -24 3/4" scale -Wraparound intonated bridge *IMPORTANT INFO: I have been informed (and verified on the Tokai forums) that this is in fact a fake Tokai. Like I said in my previous auction, it is exactly the same guitar as the Dillion DNLP-40, but with a spalted maple finish (instead of quilted), and with "Tokai" on the headstock - http://www.jsdguitarshack.com/dillion_guitars/dillion_dnlp40.html - it's still a great playing and great sounding guitar, and all the specs are still correct - the ONLY difference is that it just isn't a legit Tokai. Since it's a fake, I'm dropping the price down even lower. If you can look past the fact that the name on the headstock isn't legit, then you can get yourself a hell of a guitar for super cheap. If it really bothers you, it'd be pretty easy to paint over the logo on the headstock. This would make a great project guitar or backup guitar. Swap the wraparound bridge for one with adjustable saddles and maybe swap out the pickups, and this would be a KILLER axe. I think this is a steal since the "Dillion" real version (once again, EXACTLY the same guitar other than the finish and the headstock) goes for $645 new, and usually around $400-500 on Ebay. I'm also including a hardshell case. I just haven't been having any bites on it and I know the resale value is bad since it's a fake. If I didn't need the extra money, I'd definitely keep it.          |
