Fancy Hound Collar       

      The fancy martingale hound collar starts with the basic hound collar, which is then hand decorated with a variety of ‘glitz’ – sequins, beads, fur, etc to add a touch of glamour to any hound. Each collar is a one of a kind. The traditional hound design is a must  for sighthounds, but are also very popular for all breeds.  Designed to be kind to the animal yet provide full control to the owner, the Hound Collar is a full double width around the throat (2” wide in the large sizes and 1 ½” in the smaller sizes), tapering to the checkpiece, decorated with fabric ribbon in a variety of styles, and lined with the softest polar fleece.  All hardware is solid cast brass, and the webbing is heavy duty.  The polar fleece lining provides comfort to all short haired breeds of dogs, and will not rub or wear off the dog’s hair. The matching leash is five feet in length, and has a traffic handle at the snap end to allow for easy handling in crowded situations.  As with the collar, the snap is a full swivel, solid cast brass snap.

 

This collar is built on rich burgundy webbing, with an intricate woven band in shades of cream and, and then decorated with large slender bead drops of varying lengths, featuring amber, gold and cream beads  – it will look stunningly elegant on a long necked sighthound!  It is framed perfectly with soft, camel colored polar fleece. It is a size 14" (measure around the top of the neck, right behind the head) and will fill most Greyhounds, Salukis, Afghan Hounds, and dogs of similar neck size.  NOTE:  Although not shown in the picture, the matching leash IS included in the auction.  Please see my other auctions for pictures of this style of collar on a dog.

 

This collar is new and offered by the manufacturer, Sirius Supply Co.
