FANTASTIC 19c. BLACK AMERICANA MINIATURE CRAWLING BABY

In this auction we are offering an outstanding miniature of Black Americana crawling diapered baby.
Amazing detailed baby has individually molded fingers and toes, curly hair and side glance eyes.
Wears molded painted white diaper.
We can not seem to find any markings, also we are not sure what it is made of.
It is very light in weight just like paper Mache, perhaps some sort of composition. It is definitely not resin, plastic.
Most likely hand made and hand painted, we wouldn't be surprised if this is a one-of-a-kind piece.
Date: Late 1800’s to the very early 1900’s.
Size: Approx. 2 ¼” long x 1 ¾” high.
Condition: Excellent antique condition no chips no cracks or repairs.
