FANTASTIC Antique Filar Micrometer Microscope Eyepiece

This has to be the coolest gadget I have found this year. This is an antique microscope filar micrometer with four interchangeable eyepieces. Device is in wonderful condition - it turns smooth as silk and all the cross-hairs are present. Quality is super nice and it even comes in it's own fitted wooden box. Optics all look good, dusty but not damaged. Eyepieces screw on and each has it's own draw-tube for focus adjustment (focus on the cross hairs). Micrometer is not marked with a maker's name - at least not anywhere I could find. For the pictures I did not remove the brass cover on the end which goes into the microscope.

Overall length is just under six inches. OD of tube is 1.18 inches.

I had listed this a few months ago, incorrectly as a telescope eyepiece. A number of people emailed me about my error. I cancelled that listing and then re-listed it as a microscope eyepiece. I started the bidding at $249.99. No one bid. After the auction ended several people emailed me and said they missed bidding on it. They asked if I would run it again. I listed it a third time. I copied the old listing but forgot forgot to change it and listed it as a telescope eyepiece again! So I cancelled the third listing and figured I better just not touch it again for a few months.

I pack securely  - Everything is packed in clean new boxes. Paper items are packed in corrugated board mailers so they won't get bent.  Everything is sent with Delivery Confirmation. Signature confirmation is used on transactions over $250.00.

I have fair shipping costs - I don't over charge on shipping. I usually don't know exact shipping costs until an item is packed and addressed. I will refund if I accidentally over charge.

I am honest  - I do my best to describe items accurately and fairly. Please read the entire description before bidding. Pennsylvania residents have to pay state sales tax. I do not mark International shipments as 'gifts'. I will not lie on customs forms. I will not ship items via Media Mail unless they are media.
