FANTASTIC PR SILVER & RUBY GLASS VICTORIAN SALT CELLARS

GORGEOUS ORNATE FRAMES w ORIGINAL SPOONS ~ MY BEST EVER

This is simply the best pair of Victorian Silver Plate open salt cellars I have ever sold ! The frames are fantastic, quite ornate with holders for the spoons and amazingly the original (or at least the exact same period) spoons are even included (they fit perfectly). This is a large and impressive pair, measuring approx 5-1/2" high x 4-1/2" across widest portion of handle or 3" across opening that holds the glass bowls. The Ruby glass bowls are certainly the originals as they fit like a glove and measure approx 3-1/2" across widest portion x 2-1/2" across top rim x 1-3/8" high. The Silver Plated frames marked Meriden B. Company, and are in great physical condition, showing the typical wear for this type of Silver and age, but no breaks or repairs. The ruby glass bowls are quite thick and heavy glass and are also in very good condition only showing a few nicks again consistent with age. The spoons are marked Kent Bros, and are in excellent condition, no corrosion as you so often find on salt spoons of this age.
