This is a good, tough trailer! It does NOT have beat up fenders or broken lights! It is in excellent condition. The only reason I am selling it is because I got a new one and simply don't need it any more.
It is a 1985 Featherlite. - Fully aluminum.
- Rear tack.
- 4 saddle racks.
- 4 horse slant load with emergency exit stud door.
All 3 dividers are in excellent condition. No bends or weak spots. I think featherlite ran out of aluminum when they built this trailer, because it has big thick doors, floors, walls, dividers and supports.
- We put a small black hook bar on the door for bridles, but it also has bigger aluminum ones behind the saddles. The racks swing out and pin in place so that you don't have to chase a moving target to get your tack or put it back.
- It has mid-doors for access to your horse. When we first got it I wished it was drop downs until I NEEDED them! They are great for easy access to your horse, and they are big enough that you can climb in and out of them in the event of emergency. However, they are small enough that your horse can not get out of them! Plus, you can open them when you stop to let your horse get cooler air when it's really hot or you have a long wait.
It does have decals on it, but they are fairly new and will peel right off.
- I had cabinets custom made for it last year.
- It got a new a/c unit with heat coil in 2007. It is finished inside with extra reinforcements for the weight of the a/c.
- It has had the 7500lb axles changed out to 10k lb ones. Just had all the hubs greased, brakes checked, and tires checked.
- It has a light inside the tack compartment and one inside the horse compartment. Neither have covers, but both lights work and both are aluminum rings so they are not rusty.
- It has a tv/dvd combo with remote in the cabinet.
- It has a mini fridge that runs off generator (not included) or electricity.
- It has a plug outlet by the door.
- It has 12v lights and electric lights both, inside the living quarters.
- The living quarters just got new linoleum too.
- It has a 2 foot short wall, but the door is on the long wall so when we had the cabinets built we put a step bench to get into the bed.
Buyer must put a deposit on trailer within 24 hours of auction end.
There is NOTHING that I know of that is wrong with this trailer. I hauled it to Idaho and back 2 years ago and never had a single problem. It doesn't sit up and dry rot, I haul it 2ce a month to local horse shows. It is tall and big. I have hauled an 18 hand Trekkhaner and a 1200lb half belgian with no problems.
