FENDER American Series Stratocaster LEFTY BLACK Left LH

Here is a lightly used 1997 FENDER American Stratocaster (Left Handed).  I believe this model was part of Fender American SERIES guiatrs - where as the new / current models are called American Standard.   Comes with a new FENDER lightly padded gigbag and tremolo bar.   Sorry no paperwork.

NOTE:  The bridge pickup was changed to a Dimarzio one (not sure which one - look like a Fast Track or Pro Track) - If really necessary - I can look inside to see if there is a sticker or stamp on the pup.

Overall the guitar is clean - it was played - but it does not look like it was really gigged out with.  No real issues.  The  back of the body mostly has light switly scratches  wipping it down and from light use.  NO buckle rash.  And if you closely examine it - you may see very tiny impressions.  The front of the body is similar in condition as the back - but the area to the rigth of the pickguard has two small impressions (not too deep / not extremely light).  And the area below the tremolo area/saddles has a few very light / very small pen point impressions.  The pickguard has light surface scratches.  The hardware is fine (just very light surface scratches (NO rust). The headstock is fine.  The back of the neck is generally fine - but if you closely examine it you can kind of notice a few very light impressions (really no big deal). As I mentioned above  - the Fender Stock Bridge Pickup was changed  and a Dimarzio pup up is in  (Fast Trackk or Pro track??).   In case you are wondering - I do not have the original pickup.   Finally  -- the frets and th efretboard.   Most of the frets are fine, but the first three frets have some signs of wear / use under on the high E,B ,G areas.     And  the fretboard  has some areas where there is wear:  The 16th fret area has an impression.  And the left side edge of the fretboard has some wear / faded areas (as seen in the last picture) at the following fretboard areas - 1, 2, 8, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18,19, 20 .

It was professionally set up in February September 2009.  When it was set up - new strings were put on ( I believe 9's are on).  The action is nto too high / nto too low.
