This listing is for a Fender Champ tube amp, the transformer codes reads 606-6-02 according to what I researched the year is 1976, The grille cloth has the copper threads used only for a few years 1976/1977, the sticker on the back of the speaker is missing, there is a nick on back of the amp (see pic) overall appears to be in very good shape for a vintage amp, Works properly, and I just had my amp tech check things out and no problems noted. Shipping will be fixed at $29.99 in the continental U.S.A. and will be shipped ground service with ins. IT WILL BE PACKED VERY WELL AND ALL TUBES WILL BE PULLED OUT AND WRAPPED SECURELY AND PACKED INDIVIDUALLY TO INSURE THEY GET THERE SAFE.  On Nov-07-09 at 12:18:19 PST, seller added the following information: The amp does work fine as stated in the add, however, I have never turned it up past 5 since it was for home practice. I was doing a final test since bid is ending and I noticed that when I turned it over 5 the speaker sounds distorted. It may be a voice coil , but not sure. I would have mentioned this earlier but did not know it. We have perfect feedback and try to be as honest as possible, so please bid accordingly. THE OLD TUBES MUST OF LEAKED JUST IN THE LAST FEW DAYS. |
