Fennel Florence [ Foeniculum Vulgare ] is native to coastal areas in the Mediterranean region, and widely naturalized in Europe and North America. Florence Fennel produces flowering stems that stand a foot or so taller and support showy flat-topped umbels of little golden flowers. All parts of this herb are aromatic and delicious! The bulb, foliage, and seeds of the fennel plant are widely used in many of the culinary traditions of the world.
Fennel Florence [Foeniculum Vulgare ] has an elongated root that resembles a carrot. All parts of Fennel are aromatic, imparting a sweet anise, or licorice, scent and flavor. It differs from regular fennel because the stalk forms an edible bulbous base that fades to white. Grow in rich, light soil in a warm location and provide ample water so that the bulbs will form properly. Sow directly in garden as soon as ground can be worked. Place one seed every 3 inches and cover lightly with soil. Thin plants to 9" apart when they are 2" tall.

OVM Company (the seller) warrants seed to be of the variety and quantity advertised. For domestic U.S. shipments, safe delivery is guaranteed and if the shipment is insured, the seeds lost or damaged during shipment will be replaced at seller's expense. Claims must be made within 15 days of shipment. All other replacements, refunds, returns and exchanges will be made at the sole discretion of the seller.
Seed is a live product which depends on many important related grower skills such as proper planting time, seed depth, type of soil, irrigation, proper use of fertilizers, weed controls, fungicides, insecticides, disease free soil, and reasonable weather conditions during the growing period. Germination is affected by such factors as temperature, moisture content, light intensity and contamination of planting media. These factors are totally out of the seller's control and are the buyer's responsibility and risk. Consequently, the seller cannot unconditionally guarantee seed to perform properly regardless of conditions or the buyer's methods or mistakes.
This is the sole warranty; we make no other, express or implied. We cannot guarantee establishment of seed due to various factors over which we have no control. Liability, whether contractual, for negligence or otherwise, is limited in all respects to the amount of the purchase price of the seeds, regardless of the nature, cause or extent of the loss. It is expressly agreed that this limited remedy is exclusive and that we shall not be liable for any damages over and above the purchase price of this product. And as a condition to any liability on our part, we must receive notice by registered mail of any claim. |
