      Some of the most interesting and decorative Persian rugs are made in the ancient region of Bakhtiar, Iran. Bakhtiar is located in the Fars province in the southern of Persia. The Nomadic people of Bakhtiar have been producing unique rugs with a special charm and attraction of their own since the 1300’s.
      These rugs are largely floral and their decorative characteristic derives from their geometric patterns. They are made to last a lifetime, capable of handling heavy traffic.
      Bakhtiari rugs often come with a large center medallion in traditional dark colors of Maroon, Red, and Navy Blue. There are also other designs; the most popular of them is the garden design with repeated panels, each with different designs from nature such as trees, birds, peacocks, vases and flowers.
